Northern Ireland Somali Association (NISA) is a charitable organization ( Charity no. NIC106876) and was established in 2012 to support well-being and human dignity of Somali people and other new arrivals in Northern Ireland through researches, education, advocacy, information, empowerment and support.
We strive to support the integration process of Somali into local communities throughout Northern Ireland as well as raising awareness of the challenges, problems and difficulties faced Somali community in Northern Ireland such as education gaps, language barriers.
We provide a welcoming and safe environment for Somali community and other local disadvantaged people.
NISA’s values provide a framework within which it operates. NISA is a democratic organisation with a flat hierarchy that encourages participation from all its members.
